Time to update – not much!! Last week while Tom was in Nashville for work, I was pretty much sick the whole week and didn’t work nor did I go by the dealership at all. When I went to the post office, there still weren’t any plates for the truck or the RV, so we can bet that the finance company hasn’t received any papers yet.
I called Southeast Financial to find out if they received anything, but never received a call back. Hopefully, we will hear something tomorrow.
In the meantime, Tom and I continue to purge, go through things and sell things on eBay. We went through the artist plaques and some framed pictures and separated them in to groups: eBay; Craigslist; yard sale; keep; give to friends and family; frames to sell; frames to give to Alec; etc.
We’ve also been reading on more stuff about RVs and jobs for full-timers. There really is a lot out there. There is even a program with Amazon at their facility in Fernley, NV during the holiday season (Sep-Dec). They even pay for your campsite. It could be an awesome thing for us! We could work there and then be in Reno for Christmas! There are long hours, etc., but it’s good money and it isn’t for that long. We’ll have to hope that they continue this program so that maybe we can do it next year. I’d love for us to do it this year, but I don’t know if we’ll be ready by this year.
There are a ton of resources and ideas online. Full-time RVing is WAY more popular than you might think!
