RV LIFE – Tom’s Birthday Din Din

We went to a really great Italian place in Minden, NV called Saletti’s. Awesome food, top of the line service, and great atmosphere! However, we found out they are closing the end of February because the owner is retiring…and sold the property to the casino next door. And they have plans to raze the building and make it a parking lot! The building is beautiful! Such a shame to waste another structure like this…

RV LIFE – 1st Day Of Winter 2016

Well we couldn’t have scripted this any better!  Snow on the first day of winter! 🙂  Not a lot, just a dusting. However, starting Friday into Christmas Eve, we are supposed to get a big storm through here, dropping around 4 inches of snow in the valley with as much as 2-3 FEET up on top around Lake Tahoe! WOO-HOO!

RV LIFE – Free Food + Broken Wheel

Free food is good, right? And Denny’s free breakfast on your birthday is GREAT! YUM!

UH-OH…we broke a wheel on the truck. Have no idea how it happened.  Went to check the air and saw the crack in one of the spokes.  Had trouble finding one that was AFFORDABLE that fit too! Got one online and it didn’t fit, sent it back for full refund, found another and it should be here just before the first of the new year…let’s hope!

RV LIFE – Grandma Grandkids Christmas FUN!

One of the best reasons we love full-timing in our RV is that we get to spend some quality time with our grand-kids now. Not just a quick day trip or weekend to see them, but some real fun quality time!  Crazy fun time with them making Christmas ornaments!
