While we stayed in Blythe, CA along the Colorado River at Hidden Beaches River Resort, we decided to take the short trip of 24 miles to see Quartsite, AZ. Plus we did our laundry there too!
So my buddy Tommy Cee who works at 98.5 The Bull in Palm Springs, CA got us a couple passes to ride the Palm Springs Aerial Tram. WOW! Make sure to listen to Tommy when you are in Palm Springs.
If you are in the Palm Springs area, this is a must do! The views are astounding! Make sure to take a light jacket with you cause it is about 25-35 degrees cooler up on top of the mountain!
Here’s part 2 of our tour of Desert Pools RV Resort in Desert Hot Springs, CA, just outside of Palm Springs. Great place with super friendly staff and lots of activities for those staying at the park. We LOVED the ice cream social!!! YUMMY!
We loved staying here! It was only a week, but looking forward to a return visit in the future!
This is part 1 of 2 videos we did just walking around the park. It’s really nice with most spots wide and marked very well. Not a lot of shade trees though if that’s what you’re looking for. You ARE out in the open in most of the park, but that’s not a bad thing! 🙂
There are all kinds of events going on most days, like potlucks, dinners, ice cream socials, bingo, card games, pickleball games. There’s a reading room, weight room, billiards, card room with board games and puzzles.
There is a sauna, along with 3 mineral springs fed hot tubs with different temps and a wonderful huge pool!
