RV LIFE – RV Handicapped Conversion + DUMP SCHOOL

We met Mike at our campground where we host for the summer(#tollbridgepark) in the shadow of Mt. Hood (Oregon).

He let us tour his recently remodeled/converted rv to accommodate his wife who is handicapped, along with his first time dumping experience!

RV LIFE – Roof Sweeping

Here at Toll Bridge County Park in Mt. Hood/Parkdale, Oregon, we are ‘in the trees’! LOTS OF TREES! And with this comes a lot of pine needles, that somehow seem to embed themselves into our rubber roof!

So about once, and sometimes twice a week, I’m on the roof of our rv sweeping (and picking) the pine needles off, along with pine cones and the occasional smaller branch.

RV LIFE – The Next Batch Of Campers/PRETTY FLOWERS!

Another round of putting out the ‘tags’ on campsite posts, so when campers arrive (and we’re not around to help them check in) they just go looking for their site with their name on it!  It is pretty much a self serve type of system, but we love checking campers in and getting to meet them as they enter the Toll Bridge County Park area!

And check out some of the beautiful flowers that are now blooming through-out the park!

RV LIFE – A Visit From A Friend (NOT GARY!)

So as we continue our camp-hosting adventure in Northern Oregon at Toll Bridge County Park for the summer, a friend from Los Angeles came to see us for the day as he was passing through the area!

One of Tom’s buddies from the record side of the radio business, Bruce (whom we dearly love!) stopped by…oh, we put him to work cleaning camp sites!
