RV LIFE – Get Yer Motor Running

So in addition to repairing our slide topper the past week, we replaced the motor that controls our rear stabilizer jacks.  We priced it out to have someone come by and do it for us (shocked at the cost!), jumped online and found the motor and BAM! We did it ourselves…again! And saved a bundle too!

RV LIFE – Fishin’ line, sticky stuff and lot’s of sweat!

Fishin’ line, sticky stuff and lot’s of sweat!

So instead of spending almost $800.00 to have it replace by a ‘pro’, we decided to fix our slide topper ourselves.  And we are very proud to announce that it actually looks pretty darn good! YAY!

RV LIVING – Horse Shoe Shopping

This summer while staying at our home base, we got to experience the art of horse-shoeing!  It truly is a craft unto itself, especially these days.  Keston Denny took us through the steps from start to finish!  He is a local in Northern Nevada and does this full time. Here is all his contact info:

RV Living – RV Grocery Storage

After our Costco and Walmart grocery runs, with such a small living space, the question comes up, ‘where do you put everything’?  We’ve come up with what works for us, and that is repacking some of the items like cereal, protein bars, meats, chicken and a few other items. Check this video out and let us know how you store your groceries too!
