Heading into our first big weekend as campground hosts! The Memorial Day Holiday Weekend traditionally kicks off the summer camping season. We were fully booked up, almost every site was reserved in advance and those 3 or 4 that were not, didn’t last long with the drive ups wanting a spot! Oh and we have a few squirrels around us having some fun too!
Well we needed to stock up! 🙂 Since we have two fridges and two freezers it’s always good for us to shop at Costco at least monthly.  Most of the time we hit the grocery store about every two weeks. Sometimes we need to make a quick milk run but you know how that goes.
As camp-hosts, we work about 4 hours a day and have two days off each week. Â We generally just hang around the park, and take in the beauty of this park and relax…Toll Bridge County Park, Mt. Hood, Oregon.
Cleaning up after campers leave the park can sometimes be a little, shall we say challenging? Although, most campsites are in pretty darn nice condition after they leave. But there are those that just don’t care…and try to burn everything.
