RV LIFE – More Leaks? What NOW!

We are not very happy at this point. What was a great experience at Leisure Coachworks (a division of Alfateers) in Fontana, California…now we have more issues and just trying to get them fixed on our own.

Leisure Coachworks has said they will reimburse us for the cost to get repairs completed, however when we call Mobile Techs in the area where we are now, they are booked for the next two (2) months!!!

So we trudge on, trying ourselves to at least get a temporary fix…Lowes and Home Depot, here we come!

RV LIFE – Is This The END?

Could this really be the end of our slide out issues? Will we finally get back on the road? Is everything that has happened in the past 3 weeks at Leisure Coachworks (a division of ALFATEERS) in Fontana, California repaired?  It might be..It could be…

RV LIFE – Why IS Lori Smiling?

Talow is getting a bath…inside and out. Leisure Coachworks (a division of Alfateers) is shampooing the carpets, cleaning up the outside and getting the rig ready for us to get back into it.

Hopefully.

Fingers crossed.

What else could happen…right?

RV LIFE – Almost Ready To Move Into Again!

You’ve heard the saying “it cost me an arm and a leg” right?

Well at least we are very very close to getting our back and getting our life back…and being on the road again! In this update you’ll see that Leisure Coachworks (a division of Alfateers) in Fontana, CA have re-attached our kitchen slide completely, and are putting the finishing touches on it…sealing it up tightly, and installing a few more pieces of linoleum beneath both fridges and a cabinet area…

RV LIFE – Walls Come Off Our RV!

Well now it’s time for Leisure Coachworks (a division of Alfateers) to remove our slide out wall and rebuild it due to dry rot. (dry rot that occurred before we bought the rv) It is not something that has recently developed, as it is very old dry rot, and we just happened to be the lucky ones! 🙂 You could ask, why aren’t you doing all this work yourself, Tom? You would save a lot of money. Well, that might be true, but this job is for the professionals who actually built this rig and know this rig.

Leisure Coachworks did a wonderful job on the floor of the slide, now to finish the job…let’s see how high up the dry rot goes…
