RV Living is fun, exciting and never a problem, right? WRONG! With our rig, we have 3 slide outs and have an issue with the passenger side slide motor. We KNOW it’s the motor, have a new one that is MUCH slower RPM but much more TORQUE. Thanks to our great friends @JustPassingThru NEXT EXIT’s Bob and Pearl, we got the old motor out after several hours and the new on installed and working perfectly! Have you ever had a slide motor stop working on your rig? Do you even have any slides? Let us know!

More Issues On Travel Days!
RV Living…sometimes you just want to throw in the towel and call it! But we trudge onward! Fun times on the road
Brakes, Leaf Springs & Leg Pins
Well, before we left for the winter, we had the bearings, brakes and leaf springs inspected, adjusted and replaced as needed. Of course, we found something else that was “not right” and proceeded to repair it the TOM AND LORI WAY!
RV Roof Re-Coating
RV Living is really no different than living in a sticks N bricks! Maintenance is required on both. It was time for us to repair our RV Roof. Not just patch it with dicor, but recoat the entire roof. This WWTD (what would Tom do) is NOT A HOW TO video. We are NOT professionals by any means. Just living day to day in our rv as snowbirds. Trying our best to keep it “live-worthy”! Leave us a comment and let us know if you’ve done any roof maintenance on your rig.
